Following his tenure at ZICO, he established his own legal practice in 2016 and later joined a boutique law firm in 2020, where he led the corporate practice.

Mr. Chin specializes in corporate advisory, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and property law. He has advised on significant transactions, including the privatisation and delisting of Malaysia Airlines Berhad, the acquisition of healthcare companies by Ekuiti Nasional Berhad, the restructuring of RHB Bank, and the proposed listing of Iskandar Waterfront Holdings Berhad.
